Chief Officer for Dudley LPC
Pete Szczepanski has been qualified as a Pharmacist for 26 years. He has been Chief Officer for Dudley LPC for 3 years and looks for opportunities to promote pharmacy services within the community for contractors. His background is Community Pharmacy so he understands the current challenges faced by pharmacy.
Pete is also a Independent Pharmacist Prescriber and works as a Clinical Lead in Alcohol and Substance Misuse in Worcestershire for Swanswell.He has also just completed his second year of a Masters Degree at the University of Birmingham in Advanced Clinical Practice and is a Post Graduate Student Mentor and Student Rep there.
He is also a Committee member of the English National Pharmacy Reference Group
He is also Anticoagulation trained so has experience of running Anticoagulation clinics both in Primary Care and Community Pharmacies. On a weekend he works in an Out of Hours Hub in Walsall seeing patients face to face for acute conditions within his competencies.
He is always looking for opportunities to promote what pharmacists are capable of doing and pushing boundaries by upskilling. He sees the future of pharmacists providing more patient centred services coming from Primary Care out into the Community Pharmacy setting.
